We are seeking a Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance Planner to join our team in Canoga Park, California (Los Angeles area).
This position will have the responsibility to ensure manufacturing planning (including associated quality and customer verifications) used to fabricate, assemble and test hardware is in compliance with all company and customer requirements.
100% - Review manufacturing planning to assure engineering / customer / contract requirements are appropriately captured and documented in the planning. Insert inspection points, including government and customer inspection points.
Requires a Bachelor's degree (engineering or science discipline preferred) and at least 5 years of experience in Quality/Manufacturing processes (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. Citizenship required). Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information.

While performing the duties of this job, employees may work around variable noise levels or with fume or airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, etc. requiring the use of personal protective equipment such as face protection (safety glasses, goggles, face shield), foot protection (i.e. steel toed shoes, rubber boots, etc.), gloves, hard hat, shop coat and hearing protection. Work requires the ability to change into or out of personal protective equipment when entering or exiting manufacturing, laboratory, or other areas. This position may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization. Depending on the location of the position, visual certification requirement may apply. May require the ability to travel by air or auto.
