We are currently seeking a Director, Supply Chain Materiel Management and Compliance, for our location in Sacramento, CA.

 

The Director, Supply Chain Materiel Management and Compliance will have responsibility for all Compliance aspects associated with the Supply Chain function, including Procurement, Property, Small Business, MMAS and Estimating systems.  This position will report directly to the Vice President of Supply Chain/Materiel Management, with compliance responsibility for the entire Enterprise.  

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)

80% - In addition to typical functional management duties, all focus areas surrounding compliance activity including audit, oversight, self-assessment programs, training, creation and maintenance of command media (procedures, work instructions, forms, templates, etc.), along with primary interface with internal and external audit groups including customer and government.

 

10% - Oversight of the Supply Chain portion of an Enterprise ERP system, along with training and performance measurement monitoring and reporting.

 

10% - Assist in Merger & Acquisition integration activity, as requested/required.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and fourteen (14) years of progressively responsible experience in a directly related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated supervisory skills, including the ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct and control the activities of the assigned organization. Strong knowledge of FAR, DFAR, ITAR controls, and related government-mandated requirements. In addition, a general knowledge and understanding of the new government Business Process Rules is preferred.

 

US Citizenship Only Required. Dual Citizenship does not meet job qualifications. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level.

 

 

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 15 pounds; may require minimal walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours as necessary to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
