We are currently seeking a Supply Chain & Materiel Management Specialist for our facility in Orange, VA.

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)

The successful candidate will provide leadership direction and oversight as it relates to the Scheduling / Planning function. The Scheduling Integrator role will be focused on program centric scheduling activities and schedule development tasks. Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of Scheduling requirements throughout the entire value-stream and program lifecycle.

 

35% - Scheduling Development & Maintenance Objectives:

  • Responsible for Production Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) / Oracle schedule development activities by program.
  • Monitors and controls IMS / Oracle scheduling data integrity, consistency, and adherence to standard work.
  • Coordinates NRE type scheduling tasks with applicable support functions.

 

25% - Program Scheduling Objectives:

  • Provides program proposal support to ensure schedule alignment / awareness.
  • Coordinates program / operations related capacity simulation requests.
  • Provide summarized program level schedule risk analysis.
  • Ensure program customers are receiving the right level of scheduling support / visibility.

 

25% - Scheduling Architecture Alignment Objectives:

  • Ensure Production IMS and Oracle MPS/MRP are in alignment.
  • Work within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) value-stream to ensure latest product definition is in alignment with Production Plan. 
  • Understand and work within the entire scheduling value-stream lifecycle from proposal to end item delivery.
  • Supports overarching strategy to move towards Maestro (Oracle) centric scheduling model

 

15% - Scheduling Communication Objectives:

  • Communicates schedule specific risks to Operations, Program, and MPMs.
  • Liaison between Schedulers and Program / Operations Management.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management, Business Management / Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or other Technical Degree and 10 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

US Citizenship Only Required. Dual Citizenship does not meet job qualifications.

 

Additional Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must have ERP / Scheduling system knowledge, strong written/verbal communication, organizational, planning, and scheduling skills (Oracle EBS is a Plus).
  • Solid understanding of MS Project and Scheduling constraint types.
  • Strong leadership and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrates a highly motivated team player, consistently meets his/her commitments, has the ability to motivate and inspire change, and possesses the skills to coach/mentor individuals.
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-function / cross-site teams.
  • Operations, Procurement, Scheduling and Engineering Value Stream experience.
  • APICS certification a plus.

 

  

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit or stand and maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may require occasional walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
