These products have been used in a wide variety of government and commercial applications, including the main engines for the Space Shuttle, Atlas and Delta launch vehicles, and High Altitude Defense Systems.
We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Materiel Program Management for our location in Huntsville, AL.
The Materiel Program Management Senior Analyst will lead Supply Chain Materiel Management and cross functional teams to manage the Supply Chain in support of the Aerojet Rocketdyne Defense Business Unit. The successful individual will be responsible for Supply Chain cost, schedule and technical performance in support of the Defense Business Unit, and will plan, manage, implement and execute development and production sub-contracts for Government and Prime Contractor programs. This position will officially report to the Supply Chain Directorate of the Defense Business Unit and will be located in Huntsville, Alabama.
This current opening may be filled at this level or at one level higher.
60% - Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance, identify delivery issues and coordinate solutions with suppliers. Lead all reviews with suppliers.
30% - Drive corrective and preventative action activity at the supplier, and provide corrective action support to manage timely and effective issue resolution and control.
10% - Act as primary SCMM (Supply Chain/Materiel Management) interface for customer and management meetings at supplier locations.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Must be willing and able to travel on a regular basis to support supplier performance and program office delivery requirements. Knowledge of Supply Chain practices, procedures and MRP/ERP systems expected (Oracle preferred).
US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. Citizenship required). Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
