Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking a Senior Program Management Analyst to join our facility in Camden, Arkansas.


This position is for a Senior Analyst Program Management in the THAAD & Strategic Systems Program Sector supporting THAAD Energetic Operations. This position will be the primary program representative on site overseeing production, interfacing with customers, and ensuring effective program execution. This is an exciting opportunity to lead start-up activities as production begins later this year.

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)

50% - Coordinate with functional leads and management to deploy program strategy and ensure effective execution.

  • Collaborate with functions to establish schedules and changes are known.
  • Ensure systems in place to effectively execute production.
  • Lead team to ensure high quality in manufacturing and support processes.

25% - Perform Cost Account Management function for assigned accounts.

  • Effectively communicate schedule and budget to functional organizations.
  • Manage assigned accounts reporting performance monthly.
  • Perform variance reviews and implement corrective actions as required to ensure effective earned value control.

15% - Support THAAD Program Manager as the SME of your accounts.

  • Support customer requests.
  • Act as lead of all customer and program needs at Camden facility.
  • Support proposals.
  • Other program tasks as assigned.

10% - Support other TSS activities as assigned.

  • Lead coordination for new products transitions to the Camden site


Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and at least 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. Citizenship required). Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.


Additional Requirements:

  • Must be proficient in typical office computer programs for the conduct of program management such as MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Demonstrated abilities in team building, leadership and delegation skills to achieve project goals.
  • Must be willing and able to travel 25% to support program needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing, Engineering, Financial Management, Business Development, and/or Supply Chain and Materiel Management practices.
  • Experienced with earned value management.
  • Experienced in leading, encouraging and reviewing work of supporting team members to maximize program success.
  • Ability to coordinate various activities simultaneously and to make real time plan adjustments.
  • Previous experience on similar programs a plus.
  • PMP Certification a plus.


Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 15 pounds; may require minimal walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
