Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking a Configuration and Data Management Analyst to join our growing Huntsville, AL location.
This current opening may be filled at this level as posted or at one level higher.
Under general supervision, the selected candidate will perform assignments requiring application of Industry standard Configuration Management practices and principles supporting development and production environments for multiple programs.
30% - Perform configuration management duties verifying various types of Design, Product Definition and Operations data.
30% - Perform verification and management of Class I and Class II engineering changes for completeness and accuracy including; configuration identification, bill-of-materials, relationships and affected documents.
25% - Participate in preparation for and leadership of Configuration Control Boards.
15% - Represent Configuration Management within cross-functional teams providing guidance and support for configuration management practices, principles, policies and procedures.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and at 3 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. US Citizenship only required. Dual Citizenship does not meet job qualifications.
