Aerojet Rocketdyne is a world-recognized aerospace and defense leader providing propulsion and energetics to its space, missile defense, strategic, tactical missile and armaments customers throughout domestic and international markets.


We are seeking a Technical Data Management Analyst to join our team in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination, tracking, publication and submission of deliverable data requirements.


This current opening may be filled at this level as posted or at one level higher.

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)

50% - Publishes report deliverables for internal and external customers and establishes report logs for internal tracking.


20% - Ensures reports are in compliance with contract requirements and ensures contract data requirements, e.g. CDRL/SDRL/PDRL, are provided to the   customers as required by the contract.


20% - Coordinates contract and schedule requirements with program management, contract management, and program team members.


5% - Provides proposal estimates to support new contract deliverables.


5% - Assists with fact-finding, audit sessions, and problem solving exercises, as required.


Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have strong research, organization, time management, communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively with all levels within Aerojet Rocketdyne, as well as with external customers is essential. Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook) needed. International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) knowledge is helpful.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit or stand and maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 pounds; may require occasional walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
