Aerojet Rocketdyne seeks a Supply Chain & Material Management Support 2 position for our Canoga Park, CA (Los Angeles) location.
This individual performs administrative procurement and supply duties to assist the Procurement group.
40% - Frequently statuses Open PO’s (frequency TBD by Program or Procurement Manager), notifies Buyers of all issues/schedule changes, enters status (on an excel spread sheet or as text attachment on the PO line item) and notifies the buyer to update the Promise Date in ERP system.
30% - Provides support for PO transactions in ERP system (Open Line items requiring closure).
10% - Resolves receiving issues on orders that are received short/over or with any discrepancy.
10% - Coordinates and resolves drop shipment/non-deliverable PO invoice/receipt issues.
5% - Responsible for PO acknowledgement and enters acknowledgement into system.
5% - Administrates formal RFQ’s that are submitted in the system. Enters supplier pricing into system on all quotations. Sets up new suppliers and maintains current supplier database information (Supplier ID’s, Certifications, Contact Information) in system. Creates and generates reports on a variety of general business machines and equipment (Scanner, Printer, Computer, etc).
High School diploma or equivalent preferred and 2-4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship). US Citizenship Only Required. Dual Citizenship does not meet job qualifications.

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 15 pounds; may require minimal walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
