We are currently seeking a Senior Compliance and General Computing Control Specialist for our facility in Sacramento, CA.
The Compliance and General Computing Control (GCC) Specialist will report to the Senior Manager of Compliance and General Computing Controls. The Compliance and GCC Senior Individual Contributor is responsible for ensuring adherence to the company’s Sarbanes Oxley and IT General Computing Controls as well as other information systems audits. In addition, responsibilities will include planning software, firmware, and hardware releases into test and production environments. This position is also responsible for monitoring and analyzing the production pipeline, as well as ensuring that the quality and integrity of releases are maintained.
30% - Supports Sarbanes Oxley, IT General Computing Control audits and other IT-related reviews as prescribed in the Annual Audit Plan.
25% - Tracks remediation of audit issues noted in internal audit reports.
20% - Identifies weaknesses in internal controls and opportunities to enhance operational efficiencies. Implements improvements to resolve the identified weaknesses.
15% - Coordinates and uses audit software routines to extract and analyze data from key software applications in support of auditors.
10% - Provides internal control oversight for financial system implementations or upgrades by attending team meetings and reviewing key project documents.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and at least fourteen (14) years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Moderate travel may be required.
US Citizenship Only Required. Dual Citizenship does not meet job qualifications. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship). Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information.
