Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking a Senior Configuration and Data Management Analyst to join our growing Huntsville, AL location.
This current opening may be filled at this level as posted or at one level higher.
The selected candidate will perform assignments requiring application of Industry standard Configuration and Data Management practices and principles supporting development and production environments for multiple programs.
15% - Perform configuration management duties verifying various types of Design, Product Definition and Operations data.
15% - Perform verification and management of Class I and Class II engineering changes for completeness and accuracy including; configuration identification, bill-of-materials, relationships and affected documents.
10% - Participate in preparation for and leadership of Configuration Control Boards.
10% - Represent Configuration Management within cross-functional teams providing guidance and support for configuration management practices, principles, policies and procedures.
30% - Publishes report deliverables for internal and external customers and establishes report logs for internal tracking.
10% - Ensures reports are in compliance with contract requirements and ensures contract data requirements, e.g. CDRL/SDRL/PDRL, are provided to the customers as required by the contract.
10% - Coordinates contract and schedule requirements with program management, contract management, and program team members.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and at 6 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. Citizenship required). Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
