    Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking a Material Handler to join our Camden, Arkansas facility. In this role, you will perform a variety of inventory control duties in material control/logistics under general supervision. Additional duties include entering Maestro (Oracle) transactions of material to/from production for correct accounting cost flow; perform cycle counting processes and procedures, documentation of all transactions, filing documentation electronically, and communicating to internal and external customers.

    Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)

    Inventory Control duties:

     

    25% - Maestro (Oracle) transactions of materials for correct accounting cost flow.

     

    25% - Warehousing of material.

     

    20% - Documentation control.

     

    20% - Communication to internal and external customers (planners, procurement, production).

     

    10% - Pulling, storing, locating, labeling, and verifying inventory.

    Requirements

    High School or equivalent plus 3 years of directly related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Warehousing, general knowledge and understanding in material control activities expected.

     

    US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. Citizenship required). Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

     

    Driver’s License Requirement: All positions require possession of a valid driver’s license. Employees who drive on company business to carry out job-related duties must possess a valid driver’s license for the class of vehicle driven and meet automobile insurability requirements of the company. Eligibility for employment for those who do not meet this requirement due to disability will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

     

     

    Work Environment and Physical Requirements

    The work environment may require a combination of indoor and outdoor activity (hot, cold, wet, humid conditions) with a varied amount of walking, standing, sitting, climbing (i.e. ladders, stair, scaffolding, ramps), balance (maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces), bending, reaching, handling/fingering (seizing, holding, grasping, turning picking, pinching), stooping, kneeling, crouching and ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 40 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, employees may work around variable noise levels. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. May also be required to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer. Ability to distinguish colors may also be necessary. Some employees may be required to drive between various locations within the Company facility or between locations. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
