We are seeking an Analyst, Business Operations for our West Palm Beach, FL office.
The Analyst will be part of a team that provides financial analysis for direct contracts including budgeting, estimates at completion, revenue recognition, forecasting, earned value and applicable analysis and reporting. Participate in the preparation and presentation of recommendations to management based on financial planning data.
This position may be filled at the level posted or at the next higher level.
Using established procedures and working under general supervision, the Analyst will:
50% - Perform budgeting, forecasting, EAC estimates and performance measurement system status and maintenance utilizing computers/systems as required to perform assignments and to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
20% - Review and analyze status/progress and prepare variance analysis reports apprising management of trends and anomalies which effect performance. Prepare customer and internal reports as required.
20% - Evaluate, prioritize, and categorize data in various forms and formats using proper accounting principles, practices and procedures.
10% - Determine solutions to objectives demonstrating a complete understanding and application of principles, concepts and practices.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline such as Accounting, Finance or Business and 3 years of directly related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information. Having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
Desirable Qualifications: Exposure to transactional accounting, audit or business analysis, business operations performance such as experience with cost accounting standards, performance measurement systems and command media. Have familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles, earned value management system procedures and application, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contracting requirements.

May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat.
