The Operations Data Support 2 supports Engineers in data research and compiles data for shipping. Maintains databases for traceability and supports SM3. Handles paperwork for data retention retrieval, orders supplies, and maintains inventory.

60% - Data retrieval/data entry, sorting and filing paperwork by program and performing general clerical duties.
25% - Creating shipping documentation for approval.
10% - Traveling to and from external buildings to research data.
5% - Dealing with vendors/GOVT/Quality Engineering on shipping/data issues.
High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred, and two (2) years of related experience. Must be proficient in the use of Excel, Access and Word. Must be able to multi task and work under close supervision. Requires knowledge of database file structure to facilitate shipping and failure analysis. Workplace may include areas where chemical materials are encountered. May involve exposure to a variety of environments with variable noise levels May be required to utilize a variety of personal protective equipment. May have to research stored files under adverse conditions.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship). Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information. Having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use
standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail
despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 15 pounds; may require minimal
walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a
computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May
require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such
as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts
and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
