ULA has contracted with Aerojet Rocketdyne (AR) to provide liquid rocket engine booster propulsion in support of Delta IV launch vehicles.
Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking a Program Management Specialist to join our team in Canoga Park, California (Los Angeles area). This position will lead AR’s efforts in the test operations support and analysis of the RS-68 engine.
The Program Management Specialist will serve as the program Test Operations & SE&I/Analysis IPT Leader. In this role, the candidate will demonstrate strong team building and communication skills to motivate a cross-functional team including AR, ULA and Air Force customers and work closely with Stennis Space Center assembly and test personnel. The IPT Leader will ensure the team maintains a strong working relationship with other RS-68 program IPTs and the functional Center of Excellence (COE) organization. This position reports directly to the director of RS-68 Engine Operations and Integration.
This position may be filled at this level posted or one level higher.
85% - Lead the AR product team in the area of Test Operations, Systems Engineering and Analysis. This includes leading all aspects of engine testing support, test data evaluation and analysis, leading the SE&I activity and coordinating the materials and structures analysis effort for the RS-68 program.
15% - Ensure the scope of work is completed within cost and schedule constraints, producing EAC’s and working with COE’s relative to resource management. In addition, the IPT leader shall implement and monitor RS-68 program affordability goals specific to the test operations area.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and at least 9 years of applicable experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
