    We are currently seeking a Manager of Supply Chain and Materiel Management for our facility in Camden, Arkansas.

     

    This role includes supervision of Material Program Management (MPM) analysts and problem resolution. Other functions will include, but not limited to, the preparation and submittal of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) compliant proposals for materials, services, and supply chain and materiel management (SCMM) labor. Preparing and reporting material Estimates at Completion (EAC) and Estimates to Completion (ETC) in support of Program requirements in concert with monthly and quarterly financial reporting. Budget control at the individual group and program level. Training of new employees. Motivation of new and existing employees to meet company goals and objectives in a team environment. Oversight of the Proposal process in regard to materials, services, and Supply Chain labor. Provide input and manage the preparation of proposal review presentations. Monitor program status and provide corrective actions for material shortages. Identify material overages and assure that material is applied to appropriate programs. Coordinate, via the assigned MPM, all material service need for a program in accordance with the program plan. Special projects as needed and defined by the site director will also be assigned.

     

    This position may be filled at this current level posted or one level higher.

    Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)

    30% -  Supervises and provides leadership to all direct MPMs. Interfaces with individuals and groups such as Scheduling, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Business Management, and Program Management.

     

    30% -  Proposal generation and problem resolution. Ensures the timely preparation of proposal bills of material (BOM) and proposal presentations to support proposal reviews.

     

    10% - Coordination of daily efforts and projects with other groups.

     

    10% -  Scheduling review and interfacing with Program Management.

     

    10% -  Reports and Metrics including Estimate at Completion (EAC), Estimate to Completion (ETC), etc.

     

    5% - Continuously stress health and saftey, diversity to provide a safe, respectful, and eithical environment for all employees at all times.

     

    5% - Audits.

    Requirements

    Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Management or other related discipline and at least nine (9) years of related experience in a manufacturing environment (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). A Master's degree is considered a plus.

     

    US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. Citizenship required). Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

     

     

    Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

    The work environment may require a combination of indoor and outdoor activity (hot, cold, wet, humid conditions) with a varied amount of walking, standing, sitting, climbing (i.e. ladders, stair, scaffolding, ramps), balance (maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces), bending, reaching, handling/fingering (seizing, holding, grasping, turning picking, pinching), stooping, kneeling, crouching and ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, employees may work around variable noise levels. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. May also be required to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer. Ability to distinguish colors may also be necessary. Some employees may be required to drive between various locations within the Company facility or between locations. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
