    We are currently seeking a Senior Configuration and Data Management Analyst to join our team in Huntsville, AL.

     

    This current opening may be filled at this level as posted or at one level higher.

    Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)

    With limited general direction and exercising considerable latitude in determining methods and approaches, the selected candidate will perform assignments requiring application of Industry Configuration Management practices and principles supporting development and production environments for multiple programs.

     

    30% - Perform configuration management duties verifying various data and status of data from Design, Product Definition and Operations.

     

    30% - Perform verification and management of Class I and Class II engineering changes for completeness and accuracy including; configuration identification, bill-of-materials, relationships and documents.

     

    25% - Participate in preparation for and leadership of Configuration Control Boards.

     

    15% - Represent Configuration Data Management within cross-functional teams providing guidance and support for configuration and data management practices, principles, policies and procedures.

    Requirements

    Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related discipline and at least 6 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

     

    US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. Citizenship required). Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

     

    Additional Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:

    • Expertise and knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and processes are required.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
    • Working knowledge of Configuration Management practices and principles and knowledge of ISO10007 and EIA649 required.
    • Expert knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter desired.
    • CMII or CMPIC certification desired.
    • Knowledge of design, development and manufacture of mechanical and electrical systems desired.

     

     

    Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

    Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit or stand and maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 pounds; may require occasional walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. Requires the ability to travel by air or auto.
