Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking a Business Operations Manager to join our facility in Huntsville, Alabama.
In this role, you will serve as the Missile Defense Business Sector Manager and will be responsible for the overall operation of a business area and shared services within the Company. Typical expectations:
40% - Provide administrative leadership and concept definitions critical to the maintenance of the organizational unit's business posture.
30% - Manage a team of individual contributors.
20% - Work with the Area Business Sector Program Managers to determine organizational financial objectives.
10% - Evaluate and recommend appropriate proposal and negotiation strategies.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and nine (9) years of progressively responsible experience in a directly related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have demonstrated supervisory skills, including the ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct and control the activities of the assigned organization.
US Citizenship required. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
