Aerojet Rocketdyne seeks a Analyst, Materiel Program Management to join our Supply Chain Material Management (SCMM) organization at our Camden, AR or Culpeper, VA location.
The Materiel Program Management (MPM) Analyst will be responsible for programs of large size or complexity and will work with Engineering, Operations, Program Management and Suppliers supporting the SCMM efforts. The successful individual will work to provide SCMM representation and guidance in support of Business Unit and Business Development activities. They will also work directly with Program Management as the primary customer contact representing Supply Chain program activities.

The MPM Analyst will provide status on the cost, schedule, and technical performance for the SCMM portion of programs; the development of proposals, including Priced Bills of Material and direct labor; support of contract negotiations; coordination of SC/MM activities; and management of program budgets. They will lead program review sessions with suppliers and act as the primary SCMM interface to Leadership for assigned programs. They will be customer-focused, innovative, strive for optimal solutions, be candid about program status, including risks and problems, and potential solutions.
50% - Manage the cost, schedule, PO placement, and technical performance of the SC/MM activities for assigned program(s). Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance, identify problems and coordinate solutions with suppliers, lead all reviews with suppliers.
30% - Act as primary interface to management for the execution of material requirements on assigned programs.
10% - Prepare and make presentations to program leadership.
10% - Prepare and maintain priced bills of material. Read and understand Customer RFP requirements and documents and communicates ground rules/assumptions used in proposals. Support proposal and negotiation activities associated with responding to customer RFPs.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship). Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information. Having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
