Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking a Business Analyst to join our team in Orlando, FL.
Working closely with the Business Manager, the primary responsibilities of the Business Analyst are to prepare and maintain budgets, assist in establishing earnings plans, and assist in developing estimates at completion of assigned government and commercial aerospace projects. Will apply earned value management, finance and accounting skills and financial reporting on a major defense program.
This current opening may be filled at this level as posted or at one level higher.
60% - Working with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Database (COBRA) to compile and import all EV data. Understand and incorporate necessary changes and prepare and present to the Business Manager.
20% - Analyze data and prepare financial reports, including the monthly Cost Performance Report (CPR), for Program Managers and other internal and external customers. Create financial spreadsheets including ad hoc reports. Interface with management on financial matters.
20% - Review and analyze status/progress and prepare variance analysis reports apprising management of trends and anomalies that affect performance.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline such as Business or Accounting and three (3) years of directly related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
US Citizenship required. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
