    Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking an Operational Service Support 2 for our growing facility in Camden, Arkansas. In this role, you will perform a variety of semi-routine operational service support duties of moderate complexity (such as making entries into Oracle, ordering materials needed for work orders, cycle count floor stock, ensure shop floor has paperwork to perform work) requiring the exercise of some discretion and limited use of judgment and initiative.  Tracking and monitoring the FO/FOD program.

     

    Note: Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

     

    Candidates must be willing and available to work other shifts or overtime as needed to meet production schedules.

    Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)

    Working under general supervision:

     

    25% - Conduct Assessments & Reviews of work area to monitor compliance with FOE Requirements.

     

    15% - Participate in FO investigations, access effectiveness of FOCA's and inform/recommend to supervision changes that would lead to improvements.

     

    10% - Assist in in the implementation of FOCAs.

     

    10% - Report FO/FOD incidents to Area Supervision & Site Leader.

     

    10% - Data retrieval and data entry. General clerical duties.

     

    10% - Inventory parts/components needed in manufacturing.

     

    10% - Cycle counting KanBan parts/components and ordering parts/components.

     

    10% - Bar coding activity and distributing controlled paperwork. 

    Requirements

    Requires a High School diploma or equivalent preferred and two (2) years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Must have computer knowledge and be proficient in the use of Excel, Access and Word. Knowledge and experience of the computer Maestro is a plus. Must be able to multi task and work under moderate supervision. Requires the ability to follow written and verbal instructions to accomplish assignments of a routine and repetitive nature.

     

    Workplace may include areas where chemical materials are encountered. May involve exposure to a variety of environments with variable noise levels. May be required to utilize a variety of personal protective equipment. May have to research stored files under adverse conditions.

     

    US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. Citizenship required). Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

     

     

    Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

    Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit for extended lengths of time and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 15 pounds; may require minimal walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
