Aerojet Rocketdyne is looking for a Manager, Financial Analysis (Overhead Budgets) in our Canoga Park, CA facility. The Overhead Budget Manager will manage a team of ~5 employees responsible for all aspects of functional budgeting and reporting.
This position may be filled at this level or one level higher.
50% - Preparation of annual budgets, monthly analysis, and distribution of actual to budget variances. Respond to ad hoc data requests from department heads.
10% - Function as finance liaison and have a good understanding of the drivers behind departmental costs.
10% - Develop trends and projections for future estimated costs.
20% - Evaluate current budgeting methodology and continue to seek opportunities for process improvements.
10% - Look for opportunities for cost reductions and coordinate with functions on cost savings initiatives.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and nine (9) years of directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
US Citizenship required. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
