Aerojet Rocketdyne seeks an Analyst, Finance Process Excellence for our Sacramento, CA office. You will be part of our finance team with high visibility to the Company's Senior Financial Executives and Board of Directors. This position reports to the Manager of SOX Compliance and Process Excellence. Estimated 5-10% travel with potential increase based on Company activity.

Works under general supervision.
50% - SOX Compliance: Supports the Company’s compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and Government Contracting/Compliance framework, including; performing financial statement risk assessments; design, implementation, and enhancing control environment; assessing the impact of any identified control deficiencies; and supporting management in the development and monitoring of corrective action plans to remediate any identified control deficiencies.
35% - Process Excellence: Work with business partners to identify opportunities to optimize financial processes, improve overall control environment, and reduce cost. Support projects to develop and implement identified opportunities including driving engagement with information technology teams.
10% - Supports the development of the Company's Accounting Policies and Procedures.
5% - Responds to and supports the VP & Controller’s requests associated with special projects and/or accounting initiatives.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least three (3) years of progressive financial, audit, and operational experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. Citizenship required). Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
