    Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking a Facilities Technician to join our growing facility in Camden, Arkansas.


    This role will perform general maintenance tasks. Tasks may include cross-craft skills. 


    This current opening may be filled at this level as posted or at one level higher.

    Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)

    Working under general supervision:


    40%- Diagnose and perform mechanical repairs.


    35%- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on all machines and equipment.


    15% - Maintain PM records and logs and inventory for repairs and PMs on all tooling and insulation carts.


    10% - Maintain correct oil levels in all vacuum pumps and air compressors as required.


    Requires an Associate's degree in an appropriate discipline and 1 year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. One year of Electrical and Mechanical experience preferred.


    US Citizenship required. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.



    Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

    Duties will be performed both outside and in a shop and utility room environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently exposed to mechanical, electrical and chemical processes requiring the use of protective eyewear, footwear and other protective devices. Employee may be required to be on-call and will perform weekend and holiday work. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
