Aerojet Rocketdyne in Redmond, Washington develops and manufactures propulsion systems that are on a variety of spacecraft. We are seeking a Production Liaison Senior Analyst to join our Scheduling & Material Planning Center of Excellence.

The Production Liaison Senior Analyst will organize and direct the work of individuals and/or project teams; manage all aspects of assigned projects in one or more operations supporting production activities such as planning, scheduling, material/tool planning and control, production control, shipping, receiving, warehousing and/or transportation, etc.; perform short and long-range planning for assigned functional area(s) and implements approved plans.
40% - Responsible for establishing and maintaining material flow on the production floor. With supervision and training, support day-to-day operations, including but not limited to, generating production documents, moving/issuing material to the shop floor, and coordinating with logistics for on-time delivery to internal customers.
20% - Stage hardware in each work center per the production schedule. Ensure proper identification, on hand stock, and handling requirements of delivered/staged material. This includes Common Inventory, Kanban, and Program Inventory.
30% - Assist with the creation and execution of site priorities and program schedules. Escalate roadblocks and technical issues to keep hardware moving on the production floor. Track hardware status throughout the production process. Report status to management and program teams as required.
10% - Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in a directly related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct and control the activities of the assigned organization.
US Citizenship required. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship).
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
The work environment may require a combination of indoor and outdoor activity (hot, cold, wet, humid conditions) with a varied amount of walking, standing, sitting, climbing (i.e. ladders, stair, scaffolding, ramps), balance (maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces), bending, reaching, handling/fingering (seizing, holding, grasping, turning picking, pinching), stooping, kneeling, crouching and ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, employees may work around variable noise levels. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. May also be required to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer. Ability to distinguish colors may also be necessary. Some employees may be required to drive between various locations within the Company facility or between locations. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
