    We are seeking a Program Pricing Analyst for our Camden, AR location.

     

    This position will work with Aerojet Rocketdyne Program Management, Supply Chain, Operations and Contracts to produce accurate, responsive, compliant, on-time cost proposals reporting to the Manager, Estimating and Pricing. 

     

    This current opening may be filled at this level or at one level higher.

    Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)

    Under general supervision, the Program Pricing Analyst assists in determining approach to objectives, demonstrating a complete understanding and application of principles, concepts and practices.

     

    60% - Reads and understands RFP requirements and documents and communicates ground rules/assumptions used in proposals.

    • Evaluates incoming cost estimates and other relevant data for accuracy and completeness.
    • Prices all planning and contract proposals with current forward pricing rates.
    • Produces compliant and auditable cost volumes.
    • Prices moderately complex programs often involving intricate/multiple inputs.
    • Maintains auditable files for proposals and cooperates with Government audits.
    • Ensures disclosure of cost and pricing data and compliance with TINA.
    • Provides fact-finding and negotiations support.
    • Identifies and assesses the risk/opportunity trade-offs for proposals.
    • Serves as primary interface for all government pre-award audits.
    • Assists proposal pricing activities with the Program Management Office, functional activities, Contracts, and Buying Groups.
    • Assists with proposal data including cost structure according to customer requirements.

    40% - Assists with maintenance of pricing systems and procedures.

    • Collects, analyzes and stores data for estimating and analysis.
    • Keeps current with federal acquisition regulations and customer requirements.
    • Maintains current and historical pricing systems with current forward pricing rates.
    • Maintains and monitors estimating and pricing standards, procedures and processes.
    • Plans process improvement projects involving the development of new approaches and methods to attain objectives.
    • May provide input to department objectives and long-range goals.
    • Keeps current with programs, customers and Aerojet Rocketdyne program team.
    • Plans and performs systems and procedures audits.

    Requirements

    Requires a Bachelor's degree in a business management or technical manufacturing discipline and three (3) or more years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Understanding of applicable federal acquisition regulations plus a strong knowledge of current (TINA) disclosure requirements.
    • Familiarity with tactical rocket motor program materials and manufacturing processes is a plus.
    • Knowledge of basic mathematics and statistics, analytical aptitude, strong oral and written communication skills. Familiarity with estimating and pricing procedures, audit methods, and MS Office.
    • Requires a willingness and ability to travel by land or air to supplier or customer facilities and ability to work extended hours when proposal schedules necessitate.
    • General knowledge of estimating and pricing procedures, writing and audit methods; familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations and Standards.
    • Experience and knowledge with EBS ProPricer or other pricing software preferred.

    U.S. Citizenship, Permanent Residency or other status as a U.S. Person required.

     

    Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

    Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit or stand and maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 pounds; may require occasional walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
