Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking an Analyst, Financial Analysis & Planning for our Sacramento, CA office. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, and involves, under general supervision, generating and maintaining monthly and quarterly reports for senior management and the board, cash flow analysis, financial modeling, and assisting with the development of the annual operating and five year strategic plans.
This current opening may be filled at this level as posted or at one level higher.
25% - Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual presentations for Senior Management and Board of Directors, highlighting financial performance against consolidated plans, forecast relative to consolidated plans, and high level variance analysis.
25% - Generates monthly, quarterly, and annual cash flow reports, net debt schedules, and balance sheet analysis, including equity roll forward, reconciliation of underlying detail, and model maintenance.
20% - Assists in preparation of presentations to various outside agencies including banks, rating agencies and investors.
15% - Develops, maintains and looks to continuously improve detailed financial models which support the consolidated five year strategic plan and annual forecasts, incentive plan preparation and accrual calculations, projected debt covenant compliance, and what-if analysis.
15% - Generates ad hoc reports and participates in various projects as required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related major and (3) three years of directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience working for a public company or public accounting firm with financial reporting experience.
US Citizenship required. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
