We are seeking a Specialist Electrical PWB Design Engineer to join our engineering design team in our Canoga Park, (Los Angeles area), CA facility.
Will support Electro-Mechanical Packaging of complex electrical/electronic assemblies. Knowledge of electronic packaging design for applications in Aerospace and/or military, with an emphasis on Printed Wiring Board design. Position will support the design and development of electronics hardware, working closely with electrical circuit designers, electrical systems, manufacturing, thermal and stress analysts.

This position may be filled at this level or one level higher.
(60%) Create Printed Wiring Board (PWB) Layout designs to implement electrical circuit designs for application in demanding environments, using Altium.
(20%) Evaluate relevant design requirements for product realization working with electrical circuit designers.
(15%) Support PWB manufacturing vendors as required to facilitate effective PWB assembly and test.
(5%) Technical reviews/risk mitigation. Support other analysis functions i.e. structural and thermal as required to establish PWB design compliance.
Will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
