The Test Technician 3 position at Aerojet Ordnance Tennessee in Jonesborough Tennessee will perform inspection of in-process and finished products, perform a variety of testing techniques, complete and review inspection documents, and accept or reject material based on customer specifications and guidelines while maintaining traceability and acceptable quality standards. The Test Technician 3 will work within the Quality Assurance Department and will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Quality Assurance. This position will be located at our Huntsville, AL location.    This position reports to the Senior Director, Governance, Risk and Compliance, and is responsible for all aspects of IT security management and support of various classified security programs. This includes security program performance, inspections, proposals, coordination of management reviews and the delivery of IT security services. The scope of responsibility spans across many US locations with varying degrees of complexity and compliance requirements.   The selected candidate will collaborate at all levels within Aeroject Rocketdyne to include, program leadership, proposal teams, industrial security, IT colleagues, vendors, and other stakeholders to identify customer requirements, assess impacts to other data and systems, consider available technologies, compare costs and benefits, and recommend solutions. As part of the management team, candidate will coordinate, develop, implement and monitor team performance comprehensively in the delivery of IT security services at all sites to ensure program is compliant and meeting performance expectations. As part of the management team, the ability to inspire others through personal leadership abilities and actions is crucial. Selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.   The main challenge for the IT System Security Manager will be balancing site expectations across the company to satisfy security requirements and maintaining operational excellence for enterprise-wide classified and unclassified information systems (IS). The manager will oversee and execute a system security approach that exceeds customer expectations and minimizes security risks while also standardizing the process.
