Defense-related program management, engineering and related support positions will also be housed in Huntsville, home of Aerojet Rocketdyne's Defense headquarters and Rocket Shop Defense Advanced Programs.    We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Senior Engineer to work at our Advanced Manufacturing Facility (AMF) located in Huntsville, AL, which is our inert manufacturing facility for fabrication and assembly of composite rocket motor hardware. Manufacturing Engineering team members specify, develop and transition manufacturing processes from development to production. This is a small dynamic team that requires motivated, self-starting individuals with hands-on experience. Manufacturing Engineers lead process management activities and create associated documentation for their assigned processes. They must be able to follow company procedures and requirements for the manufacture of advanced, man-rated, and high value aerospace hardware.    This posting may represent one or more specific manufacturing engineer specialty roles, candidates should have experience in one of the following areas.   Composite Manufacturing Engineer - Insulation Layup, Molding and Cure or Composite Manufacturing Engineer – Filament Winding or Composite Manufacturing Engineer - Assembly and Verification   This position may be filled at the level posted or at the next higher level.

Aerojet Rocketdyne (AR) Coleman Aerospace in Orlando, Florida is looking for a Systems Engineer with 5 years of related work experience to support its System Requirements and Integration (R&I) engineering team.   At this location, AR Coleman Aerospace produces complex single, two, and three stage launch vehicles used to support ballistic missile defense testing. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for performing Systems Engineering tasks that establish and manage design requirements, and will verify product designs meet all operating requirements for fabrication, test, flight, and life cycle disposal environments.   Candidates should have prior experience supporting complex aerospace programs from inception through completion. Qualified individuals must have systems engineering experience utilizing a combination of commercial and in-house developed software tools, and/or hand calculation methods to compose and flow-down system requirements, correlate analysis models and test results, determine design margins and design life, and preparing technical documentation in support of assigned programs. The requirements for this position also include prior experience supporting the execution of government technical interchange meetings (TIMs), progress reviews, and major program milestone meetings.
