The Senior Project Engineer will plan and perform propulsion program tasks in conjunction with program management. Under limited general direction, you will implement design and analysis tasks, special studies, experiments, and hardware/test requirements. Additionally, you will coordinate ballistic, thermal, and structural analyses, as well as perform post-test examination, analyses, and reporting. You should also have the ability to successfully: - Provide imaginative, thorough, and practicable solutions to a wide range of technical problems involving the conventional utilization of engineering techniques. - Conceive and plans projects involving the development of new methods to attain objectives. - Provide direction in problem investigations and resolution across functional areas. - Lead investigation activity if sufficient experience in investigation of tools and procedures has been demonstrated. - Prepare technical and design requirements in support of project goals. - Keep current in relevant technologies and methods in support of project assignments. - May provide technical guidance to less senior project engineers and project support personnel. - May be assigned Cost Account Management duties. - May perform as the engineering cost account manager. Manufacturing Engineering team members specify, develop and transition manufacturing processes from development to production. This is a small dynamic team that requires motivated, self-starting individuals with hands-on experience. Manufacturing Engineers lead process management activities and create associated documentation for their assigned processes. They must be able to follow company procedures and requirements for the manufacture of advanced, man-rated, and high value aerospace hardware.    This posting may represent one or more specific manufacturing engineer specialty roles, candidates should have experience in one of the following areas.   Composite Manufacturing Engineer - Insulation Layup, Molding and Cure or   Composite Manufacturing Engineer – Filament Winding   This position may be filled at the level posted or at the next higher level.
