Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Audit and surveillance of quality systems and processes. - Assessing potential new suppliers. - Monitoring suppliers to ensure flow down of AR requirements to sub-tier suppliers. - Promoting and assisting supplier continuous improvement. - Physical hardware inspection, acceptance and release. - Validating and reviewing supplier first article inspections. - Product integrity reviews (physical and documentation). - Review and approval of supplier technique sheets, ensuring compliance to AR specifications and drawing requirements. Aerojet Rocketdyne seeks a Specialist Project/Product Engineer for our Orlando, Florida location.  The Project Engineer will plan and perform Electronic and Mechanical program tasks in conjunction with program management.  Under limited general direction, the candidate will implement design and analysis tasks, special studies, experiments, and hardware/test requirements.  Additionally, the candidate will coordinate thermal and structural analyses, as well as perform test planning, post-test examination, analyses, and reporting. The candidate should also have the ability to successfully: - Provide imaginative, thorough, and practicable solutions to a wide range of technical problems involving the conventional utilization of engineering techniques. - Conceive and plans projects involving the development of new methods to attain objectives. - Provide direction in problem investigations and resolution across functional areas. - Lead investigation activity if sufficient experience in investigation of tools and procedures has been demonstrated. - Prepare technical and design requirements in support of project goals. - Keep current in relevant technologies and methods in support of project assignments. - Provide technical guidance to less senior project engineers and project support personnel. - Will be assigned Cost Account Management duties. - Will perform as the engineering cost account manager.
