This position will be located at our growing facility in our Camden, Arkansas facility.   This position performs functions such as fabrication of components, clean and assemble equipment, cleans tools, parts, and work area, operate machinery. Mixes or processes liner materials, apply liner to cases and components. Pressure tests, bonds, assembles, paints, precision part clean, mix adhesives, torques fasteners, and all other duties and tasks required to assemble and prepare for shipment of products. Maintains records for manufactured products. Works safely while producing a high quality product and maintaining a clean and orderly work area.

In this role, you will be the Program Manager on Redmond’s satellite and spacecraft propulsion proposals for US Government and Prime customers. The majority of Redmond’s proposals are commercial, which can include a commercial-to-AR acquisition of propulsion systems for a Federal-to-Prime program. Redmond experiences a high number of short-notice, rapid-turn RFPs for lower dollar amounts (new business and follow-on), which requires a tailored/abbreviated proposal process to minimize proposal development cost. Most proposals are pricing/cost volumes with technical or additional information attached. Redmond receives a smaller number of new business RFPs, often for higher dollar values, requiring traditional proposals volumes and a greater application of ARs standard new business proposal process.  You will be responsible to manage the program cost models, gather and integrate data and build the necessary support data for use on competitive and sole source proposals.   One of the necessary skills to manage proposal is to understand and be able to manage programs.  Therefore, you may be responsible for management and contract performance of development and/or production propulsion programs. This individual will manage and direct assigned programs, which includes defining and controlling program scope, overall schedules and budget in accordance with applicable contractual and Aerojet Rocketdyne policies. This position will receive direction from program managers and company executives to implement tasks expeditiously and conscientiously; manage projects and deliverables to the best of their abilities within the approved resources.  Candidate needs to be customer-focused and provide the best, most cost-effective systems or capabilities, within contract bounds, along with being innovative, while striving for optimal solutions.  Needs to be able to think or seek better ways to manage those projects and be candid about project status, including risks, along with providing potential solutions. Lastly, the candidate must have the ability to communicate progress and issues to higher level management including Senior Executives, Program Management, Integrated Product Team Managers and leads, along with all team members and COE's.     This position may be filled at this level posted or one level higher.
