The Senior Mehcanical Engineer will be responsible for mechanical design aspects of missile systems and associated ground support equipment. Duties span conceptual design through detailed design technical drawings. Production support activities are also required including engineering change management and non-conformance resolution. The selected candidate will use in depth knowledge of mechanical design and related knowledge of other disciplines to ensure that design completions meet technical requirements.

Aerojet Rocketdyne Coleman Aerospace is looking for a Senior System Safety Engineer for its Orlando, FL location.
The Safety Engineer is responsible for identifying hazards and proposing mitigations associated with the procurement, manufacture, assembly, testing, and operation of missile systems and support equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure that safety procedures and rules are followed on the manufacturing floor, as well as at the off-site assembly and processing areas.
The Safety Engineer must review documentation (e.g., customer contracts, engineering drawings, procedures) to establish and verify that product designs, plans, and procedures meet all applicable Safety requirements for fabrication, test, flight and life cycle disposal environments.
Will utilize a combination of commercial and in-house developed software tools (e.g. MS office), to gather technical documentation in support of all programs. May coordinate risk and opportunity management for development and production programs. Must interface with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Program Management, Production and external stakeholders). Will generate and submit documentation to customer, and support technical presentations.
Up to 15% Out-of-State travel required, with 35% in-state/local travel (primarily Orlando and Cape Canaveral).

Aerojet Rocketdyne Coleman Aerospace in Orlando, FL is seeking an Aerospace or Electrical Engineer to join the Guidance, Navigation, and Controls (GNC) Systems team.
At this location, we produce high complexity (low volume) One, Two and Three stage target missiles. In this role, the Engineer may work tasks related to modeling and simulation, flight controls, trajectory development, and autopilot analysis. Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

The successful candidate will help assure the success of space missions through development, qualification, and production of Hall, Arcjet, Ion, or other EP thrusters. Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking a Safety Engineer to join our growing facility in Camden, Arkansas.
After orientation and training, this position is responsible for performing safety assignments under general supervision and following established policies. The successful candidate will implement the Company’s safety, health & environmental (SH&E) programs to ensure compliance with applicable local, state and federal regulations, as well as requirements of the Department of Defense. The candidate will assist in investigating accidents, participating in reviews to ensure SH&E criteria are met, conducting trainings on safe working conditions, practices, and proper use of safety equipment. Responsibilities include conducting periodic audits and inspections, implementing corrective and preventative actions, evaluating workplace hazards and implementing measures to control risks. This position reports to the Camden Director of SH&E and works in a team environment.
The Machinist 2 sets up and operates a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, precision grinders, etc. to make parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines to exacting tolerances and dimensions. These positions interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications; determine sequence of operations, number of cuts required and method of setup and arrangement; work with a variety of machinist’s hand tools and precision measuring instruments; make shop computations; and fit and put together precision parts and determine material, parts and equipment required.
