We are seeking an Associate Engineer, Materials and Processes for our Huntsville, AL office.
The Materials and Processes (M&P) Engineering team:
- Applies principles of chemistry, physics, and material behavior to develop metallic, non-metallic materials for use in exploratory research, and product development that leads to production.
- Provides expertise in the areas of non-energetic materials and properties, material chemical and structural characterization testing, modeling and performance.
- Performs first order analysis of transient loads and structural response, subsystem and system integration, and engineering consultation. Material analyses may include failure analysis of components, systems and subsystems, life predictions, and definition.
- Designs and scales up manufacturing processes, instruments and equipment, and tests manufactured products to ensure requirements and quality are met.

We are seeking a Program Management Specialist to join our Power Innovations group in Huntsville, AL. The Power Innovations (PI) group within Aerojet Rocketdyne’s Rocket Shop manages rapid development of experimental prototypes intended for both traditional and non-traditional markets. The position requires approximately 80% direct charging to contract, B&P or IR&D accounts.
